Much has been said over the years about Stephen Pearcy's voice, criticized or adored, but he was one of the icons of the hair metal era.
"Back For More (Tribute to Ratt)" consists of Ratt material re-recorded by Pearcy under the moniker of Mickey Ratt, the earlier name of the band.

This album was already released under the name "Mickey Ratt: Ratt Era Best Of" back in 2005. Stephen changed it for this re-issue to "Back For More" due legal reasons (he couldn't use the double 'T' anymore) .
What we have here is Stephen Pearcy and a backing band with guest appearances by 80's shredders George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) and Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns).

Overall the re-recordings sound very good.
"Ratt Madness" never sounded better and "Top Secret" (both lead by George Lynch) stand out in the bunch. The hits as well are represented here: "Round and Round", "Lovin' You Is a Dirty Job", "You're In Love", all are played in fine form.
Essential for fans and a good, pleasant listen to any hair metal fan.
