STAN BUSH - Thunder In Your Heart (2013)

*

AOR icon STAN BUSH is preparing a new album to be released next Summer, and meanwhile he has a new single out: "Thunder In Your Heart".
"Thunder In Your Heart" was the main theme from the cult movie RAD (1986) originally recorded by John Farnham for the film soundtrack.

Stan's version captures all the magic of the '80s with crunchy guitars, 'that' synths and of course his signature, soaring melodic vocals.
The track is being used by GameStop in a spot promoting the new Tomb Raider game.
Essential song for AORsters. Just love this stuff!!!

STAN BUSH - The Touch [Power Mix] (2012)

*

AOR legend STAN BUSH has still got the touch.
Hard at work with his live performance group Acoustic Saints in Los Angeles and rumors of a new album in the works, the man is also featured in the newest Transformers game titled Transformers: Fall of Cybertron by High Moon Studios with his new mix of “The Touch” ; Power Mix & Epic Guitar Remix.

The new "Power Mix" for the video game features new heavy guitar layers and a more modern vocal approach than the classic '80s song, with a more sombre feel in line with the new game’s atmosphere. Still, Stan manages to bring a glimpse of hope across with his signature style shining through.

But the gem here is the "Epic Guitar Remix". It's an awesome AOR version with the same vibe of the original but with terrific guitars and 'aural' vocals.
A Must Have for any AOR fan.

“The Touch : Power Mix” Maxi-Single is now available at all music retailers.

ACOUSTIC SAINTS (Stan Bush) - ST (2012)

*

ACOUSTIC SAINTS is new band put together by guitarist, singer and songwriter AOR icon Stan Bush, bassist Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot, House of Lords, Giuffria) and Rick Sailon (Laura Brannigan, Richard Page, Jim Messina).

While Stan Bush is most likely working on a new album, 'Acoustic Saints' started as a side project intended to play some small gigs.
Stan had to say: "Yeah, we just got together with Chuck to play some acoustics, this is a very cool thing. We're doing only great classic songs, with a few originals thrown in.
It's myself, Chuck Wright with his acoustic bass and Rick Sailon on violin, acoustic guitar & mandolin."

The Acoustic Saints reinterpret Classic Rock fave tunes from the '70s and '80s, such as "Whiter Shade Of Pale", "Hotel California" or Bush's penned "Love Don't Lie" (popularized by House of Lords) with a moody atmospheric vibe.

This is a promotional only recording, not for sale.
Catch them at the Hard Rock Hollywood (right on Hollywood Blvd) on January 14th, 2012!
