Former member of iconic legends The Eagles (co-writer of the Grammy-studded smash Hotel California), DON FELDER left the band in 2001, and more than ten years after he is releasing "Road To Forever", his new solo album.

"Road To forever" is a great, warm, delicious Californian radio rock album where Don Felder is delivering the goods like a West Coast hero.
His celebrated lyrical, signature guitar work shine in these bunch of songs helped by very special guests such as Tommy Shaw (Styx), Randy Jackson (Journey), David Paich (Toto), Steve Lukather (Toto), Crosby Stills & Nash and others.
As you may expect with the musicians involved most of the songs have a West Coast AOR sound but there are some curve balls in the mix.
As example we have the shiny classic rocker "You Don’t Have Me" featuring wonderful vocal arrangements and stellar guitar playing, or the cheeky number "Girls In Black" where ZZ Top meets the Eagles showing Felder's abilities to rock with style.

My favorite is the smooth West Coast AOR gem of "Wash away" featuring Tommy Shaw, there's just pure magic all over in this supreme tune.
Another highlight is the excellent ballad "Heal Me", Don truly hit the right spot with this emotional song.
"Give My Life" is a really good classic American song with a heartfelt lyric. Don doesn't hold his punches at times like on the song "Money", an attack on the financial woes of many in the US right now.

"Road To Forever" is a triumphant return for Don Felder featuring twelve original tracks anchored firmly in the classic L.A. Rock sound he perfected as guitarist in The Eagles for 27 years.
Radio Rock, West Coast, AOR, Classic Rock, all genres are represented in this beautiful CD, with and incredibly pristine production courtesy of Robin DiMaggio (Paul Simon, Steve Vai).
